Our staff qualifications include full awareness and training in first aid and allergies, and our Truganina childcare centre is both a nut-free and egg-free zone. As a number of our little learners have food allergies, we run a strict "No Food from Home" policy to ensure the safety of all children in our care.
We aim to encourage children to develop good eating habits from a young age. To support this we give the children hands-on experience in the growing and harvesting of crops in our extensive veggie gardens, which are then used in our kitchen to create delicious, healthy meals and snacks.
